Frequently Asked Questions

Aren´t plastic Tees forbidden on our golf courses?

- No, this is a misunderstanding that many golfers still believe, bur is incorrect.

The unique selling point for the Viking Tee is that it does not harm the precision cutting blades of the green keepers equipment, which is normally the case with other types of plastic tee. The main reason for the introduction of the Viking Tee is to avoid the previous problems caused by plastic tees and to ensure that no damage is caused to the equipment used on our golf courses. This is a matter of great concern and importance to us. By using a carefully created component material, which is also a thermoplastic, we have managed to produce a product which completely fulfils these demands. The tests done so far in close co-operation with Swedish Green Keepers have show that the Viking Tee, with good margin, completely fulfils these demands.

Plastics are not environmentally friendly?

- The material in the Viking Tee does not affect the environment. Neither do the colour pigments or the packaging materials. All the materials used are certified as environmentally friendly and are fully recyclable. The Viking Tee exhibits excellent qualities in strength and durability and will never be left discarded on course, even after a great number of rounds. When the tee has reached the end of its life cycle it is easily recycled.
